Boston University SENIOR LEADERSHIP GIFT OFFICER, School of Medicine, Development in BOSTON, Massachusetts
Reporting to the School of Medicine's Assistant Dean for Development, the Senior leadership Gift Officer will identify/discover, cultivate, and solicit prospects for six-figure gifts for the School of Medicine. Interacting across the School with Faculty, deans, chairs, and alumni relations and development colleagues, and with development colleagues in the central development and alumni relations office, this position requires strong frontline fundraising experience, a deep understanding of fundraising principles and practices, a familiarity with medical research, and strong communication skills, organizational skills, self-motivation, collegiality, and professionalism. The incumbent should be comfortable working independently to develop a prospect portfolio. Significant national travel is required.
