This job is eligible for a hybrid schedule with on-site work expected. The individual is expected to reside in the 1st District.

This position is responsible for providing technical and analytical support to the Quality Assurance Unit for multiple applications both existing and new.

• Analyze manual test scenarios and identify viable candidates for automation.

Develop, maintain, support, and execute automated tests.

Analyze automated test results to identify defects in the application(s) test.

• Develop innovative technical solutions to assist with manual testing.

• Support other team members in the installation, configuration, and ongoing use of automated testing tools.

• Create and maintain documentation regarding automated testing solutions and their technical configurations.

• Assist with the implementation and support of multiple applications from both the user and technical perspective.

• Assist with the coordination of cross-functional and cross platform test strategies.

• Assist in formal and informal reviews throughout the development life cycle.

• Develop and communicate technical policies, procedures, and strategies, and clearly articulate complex situations to both technical and non-technical personnel.

• Function as a liaison between the Quality Assurance and Development Units to assist programmers with the development of software to ensure that design specifications are satisfied from a user perspective.

• Knowledge and experience normally acquired through, or equivalent to, the completion of a bachelor’s degree in technology and a minimum of 5-7 years of job-related experience.
