A Day in the Life
The newly created ACM OU is committed to excellence in innovation and commercialization to pursue our vision and long-term business growth. The ACM OU R&D organization is refining its product delivery, innovation, and commercialization approach to enable product leadership across all segments of our product portfolio. This will require enhancing our innovation processes, refining our design and delivery approaches to deliver an integrated and comprehensive portfolio that enables product development excellence across ACM.

In the Oximetry R&D team in our Acute Care and Monitoring operating unit, you will lead and manage projects throughout the entire product life cycle by aligning on and achieving project scope and objectives while balancing schedule, cost, quality, requirements and keeping abreast of developments in project management tools and processes as well as the technical domain.
This role will be based out of Boulder, CO.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Leads or leverages cross functional teams to evaluate, develop and manage projects for new product development and ongoing lifecycle management of products, processes and therapies.
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
Manages the development and implementation process of a company’s products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products and processes.
Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.
Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
Gathers requirements, works on requirements planning, requirements elicitation and requirements management to ensure they meet demands of project’s key stakeholders.
Communicates with stakeholders, obtains stakeholder engagement to ensure the end products or processes will solve the business problems.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree required (Engineering, Computer Science, or related scientific discipline)
Minimum of 4 years of project management experience leading complex project/programs within medical device or highly regulated industry.
Nice to Have
Medical Device industry experience- knowledge of new product development, DRM, clinical trial management, quality systems, global regulatory experience.
Advanced degree such as MS, MBA, with strong financial acumen
Extensive experience leading a complex project/programs
Positive energy and a “can-do” attitude.
A drive for continuous improvement and a passion to be a change agent.
Strong leadership skills with proven record of managing successful project/teams.
Experience implementing initiatives through effective influence management skills at multiple levels of the organization.
Must be comfortable with ambiguity, adept at change management, and resilient when difficulties are encountered.
Excellent facilitation and issue resolution skills.
Collaborative team player; embrace a partnership approach, comfortable in working in cross functional teams.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$109,600.00 - $164,400.00
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
