Facilitate the sales of NetApp's advanced enterprise data storage products, designing, and architecting highly complex application workloads. Act as a future customer's first technical contact and help discover opportunities where Spot can help solve a customer's cloud goals. Lead technical discussions and demonstrate the value of Spot products using sales engineering techniques. Advise on configuration and implementation and suggest solutions. Utilize DevOps workflows and containerized applications to bring value to the customer. Help DevOps, SREs and engineers understand application architectures and integration approaches, with full responsibility for pre-sale and post-sale cycle from a technical point of view. Demonstrate technical domain skills in cloud computing, systems engineering, and data and analytics. Help execute successful POCs and seamlessly work with the customer success team to ensure customer satisfaction. Understand and integrate public cloud solutions including Amazon Web Services, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. Collaborate with all teams and provide customer feedback that leads to new products and features. Deploy container orchestration platforms using Kubernetes, Amazon, and ECS. Design and present solutions that address customer needs and goals and maximize obtained value from Spot products. Build enterprise-wide scalable applications by leveraging Python and Bash.Write and maintain code for infrastructure automation using Terraform and CloudFormation. Help the Spot portfolio continue to be a fast-growing entity of NetApp, accelerating the customer's journey to and through the cloud. The position requires a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, engineering, or a related technical field and five years of experience in the job offered or in sales engineering. Will accept a master's degree in lieu of two years of stated experience. Stated experience must include DevOps workflows and containerized applications; cloud computing, systems engineering, or data and analytics; Amazon Web Services, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform; container orchestration platforms including Kubernetes or Amazon or ECS; Bash or Python; and Terraform or CloudFormation. Must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time.
