Job Title: Accounts Payable Associate

Job Description

A leading company in Bowling Green is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate for a summer temporary assignment. The primary role includes performing various functions in the corporate accounts payable sector and assisting with cash accounting tasks as needed. This role requires working Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, totaling 40 hours per week, for a duration of 8-12 weeks. Responsibilities include verifying vendor account information, matching vendor invoices with purchase orders, ensuring payments are authorized and properly coded, processing invoices for payment, and preparing various financial reports.

Hard Skills

  • 1+ years experience in accounts payable

  • High volume invoice processing

  • Efficient typing skills

  • GED/Diploma

Soft Skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to manage time effectively

  • Strong organizational skills

Work Environment

The work environment involves an in-office setup where each associate has their own computer and desk, mainly handling invoices and keying information daily. There is a potential for this position to become permanent after 90 days.
