The WKU Department of Theatre & Dance seeks an instructor of Theatre Lighting and Sound Design to begin in the fall 2024 semester. This individual will teach such courses as stage electrics, lighting design, sound design, and stage management. Additional areas of teaching may include projection, CAD, Theatre Appreciation, or other topics based on the successful candidate's expertise. This individual will also design lighting and sound for department productions, as well as supervise student staff and student lighting and sound designers. Additional duties may include production support, committee service, and recruiting.

Job Requirements:

MFA in theatrical lighting design required, along with at least two years of professional theatre design or master electrician experience.
