Wood County Hospital is now accepting applications for a Physical Therapist in our Rehab department. The Physical Therapist provides personal care and professional excellence by organizing and conducting medically referred physical therapy to restore function and prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of a body part; helps patient reach his/her maximum performance and assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of his/her capabilities.

Job Duties:

• Deliver direct patient care including evaluations, treatment planning and family/home education as well as maintaining appropriate records.

• Demonstrate appropriate skills required to treat patients of all ages.

• Assists the senior physical therapist in discharge planning activities and in-house in-service as needed.

Shift Details:

Hours:  

• 20 hours per week 

Shift: 

• Day Shift

Rotation: Weekend rotation required

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum Certification:        

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Ohio

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy

Preferred Experience:        

• Experience acute care adult patients.
