Honeywell Sr. Manufacturing Engineering Technician in Boyne City, Michigan

Be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to develop, implement and maintain method and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. Using your technical expertise, you will ensure quality documentation of processes exist, compliance standards are followed and timely process of customer orders are achieved.

As a Senior Manufacturing Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in optimizing manufacturing operations and ensuring the highest level of product quality. You will be responsible for overseeing the production equipment, troubleshooting any issues that arise, and implementing improvements to enhance equipment reliability. Your expertise in manufacturing equipment and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations.

You will report directly to our Manufacturing Manager and you’ll work out of our Boyne City, MI location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and productivity of our manufacturing operations, ensuring that products are produced in a timely manner and meet the highest quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Test Panel Maintenance / Calibration

  • PC Trouble Shooting/ Labview

  • Process improvements

  • Constructing Test Cables

  • Creating Schematics

  • Manufacturing equipment maintenance

  • Trouble shooting& repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems

  • Interacting with Manufacturing Engineers and Production Specialists

  • Data analysis

  • Standard work

  • LOTO procedures

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations.

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.

  • Attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot issues.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    WE VALUE

  • Associate's degree in a related field.

  • Labview Software experience

  • Soldering experience

  • Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification.

  • Continuous improvement mindset.
