Job Description
WHAT'S THE JOB?
As a Prep Cook , reporting to the Culinary Manager, you will be responsible for the proper and timely preparation and service of all items sold in our Student Public House and Simcoe Hall Cafe including, but not limited to, food service, food safety and supervision of kitchen staff.
Washing, chopping, and storing ingredients like fruits, vegetables, and meats
Assist with keeping kitchen, dish, and storage areas organized and sanitize
Prepares daily production list set by Chef or Manager
Receives product by verifying invoice and freshness of merchandise
Keeping track of ingredient inventory and collaborating with other kitchen staff and management to reorder supplies
Supports the Dishwasher with janitorial tasks as needed
Assist in tasks as requested by the Chef or Food Service & Culinary Manager needed to successfully run the Cocina
Qualifications

Production Cooking Experience
2 years line cook experience
A clear criminal background check is required for this role.
