Pay Rate: $17.50

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6am to 3:30pm

What’s a typical day as a 1sf Shift Fork Lift Operator? You’ll be:

• Safely facilitating the movement of finished and unfinished material through the manufacturing and production process

• Reviewing work orders or following verbal instructions to move pallets and containers from machines

• Loading/unloading material onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand

• Moving material from storage or work sites to designated areas

• Ensuring that operators have all the raw material to operate their equipment

• Stacking and assembling materials into bundles

• Banding bundles

• Removing empty pallets from equipment

• Performing duties of Shipper/Receiver, as assigned

• Performing other duties as assigned

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Are a trained and qualified forklift operator

• Have the ability to communicate in English

• Possess basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplying, dividing, and counting

• Can read and understand all safety operating procedures and use all safety features of the equipment

• Have knowledge of products manufactured or warehoused at the plant

• Have the ability to use the required personal protective equipment at all times

• Have at least one year of similar work experience working a 1st shift position.
