Job Description

A large health system in Braselton, GA is hiring for Ortho/Surgical RNs. This is a 24 bed unit with all private rooms. Individualized care is provided for patients both inpatient and outpatients having surgical procedures, including pediatric general surgical patients. The unit may also provide care for patients post ICU or with medical diagnoses as needed. This unit works in collaboration with the Joint Care Center program, a multi-disciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes. Beginning at preadmission, the program includes an array of pre an post-operative services emphasizing wellness and maximizing patient recovery efforts through education.

 This candidate does need previous med surg experience- a year is enough!

 In an emergency, this resource may need to travel to an alternate NGHS campus. They will be given 2 hours of warning before their shift- again, this is very RARE but needs to be mentioned to candidates

Skills and Requirements

Licensure or other certifications: Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.

 Educational Requirements: BSN

 Minimum Experience: At least 1 year of RN experience

 RN, BLS null
