Description

We are seeking a Sr. Accountant for a short term contract employment opportunity in the local area of Exeter, New Hampshire. The role involves providing weekly financial reporting, assisting in audit and month end activities, and performing financial reviews.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of weekly financial reporting.

• Participate in audit activities and provide necessary documentation and explanations.

• Support month-end close processes.

• Prepare and post journal entries.

• Conduct balance sheet and bank reconciliations.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Perform financial reviews and identify areas of improvement.

• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Requirements

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations.

• Competent in maintaining and updating the General Ledger.

• Skilled in making accurate Journal Entries.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial data management.

• Ability to perform Month End Close procedures effectively.

• Prior experience in a senior accountant role or similar position.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
