CoreCivic Manager, Ethics and Compliance, Data Reporting & Analysis in Brentwood, Tennessee

This position would require a hybrid work schedule of 3 days per week onsite and 2 days remote out of our Brentwood, TN office location.

The Manager, Ethics & Compliance, Data Reporting and Analysis participates in the administration of the company's organization-wide ethics and compliance program. Responsible for data reporting and analysis for program elements. Develops appropriate metrics and prepares reports and analyses for senior management. Assists with ethics and compliance risk management and manages associated compliance processes and reporting requirements. Manages projects and associated dashboards, and identifies ongoing strategies to evaluate and improve ethics and compliance program maturity. Manages Resident Concern Line reporting through lifecycle of case, including case triage, response, and resolution in the case management systems. Supports the management of the corporate ethics and compliance "Ethics Line" as needed. Effectively models ethical conduct to all levels of the organization.

  • Leads data reporting function for ethics and compliance by using aggregated data or other information or systems to design presentations for senior management and the Board of Directors.

  • Oversees design and management of documents and systems used to track ethics and compliance work output.

  • Uses critical thinking and strategic skills to proactively evaluate compliance processes and drive program maturity.

  • Manages reports received through the company's systems for reporting employee (Ethics Line) and resident concerns (Resident Concern Line) and maintains thorough case documentation.

  • Analyzes and exercises independent judgment in evaluating reports raising a range of concerns, including human rights, operational, human resources or compliance-related matters to ensure proper handling, response and disposition.

  • Manages the flow of report information to resolution and ensures that reporting party concerns are appropriately routed and addressed.Ability to effectively triage and escalate reported concerns based on policy and contract requirements.

  • Maintains accurate records of case information and uses data to summarize activities and produce in-depth data reporting and analyses for ethics and compliance team and company senior leadership to assist in recognition and mitigation of risk.

  • Supports directors and senior director with Ethics Line case management or other work as identified and fills in for directors as needed.

  • Develops monitoring and auditing capabilities with respect to ethics and compliance case management systems and other compliance systems and requirements; prepares associated reports for departmental and company leadership.

  • Supports the ethics and compliance "Ethics Liaison" program through attendance at regularly scheduled meetings and raising awareness related to facility-level trends.

  • Supports human rights policy implementation through development of metrics reports and facility human rights consultations.

  • Domestic U. S. travel may be required.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Statistics, Data Science, or related field, is required.

  • Five years of experience in ethics and compliance, employee relations, or in an assurance-related function, including two years of experience with computer database programs, data analytics and metrics reporting is required.

  • Work experience should include relevant duties with highly confidential and sensitive issues.

  • Attention to detail and exceptional time management and organizational skills required.Strong written and verbal skills required, as well as the ability to communicate with diplomacy and respect.

  • Project management experience preferred.

  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.

  • Proficiency in other Microsoft Office suite of tools is required.
