Provide behavior management of students using CPI, in conjunction with teachers, teacher aides and residential staff. High School diploma or GED, a valid driver\'s license and a clean driving record are all required for this position. Must have strong therapeutic behavior management skills and exhibit ambulatory ability sufficient to physically intervene in instances of extreme behavior that might jeopardize the safety of students and staff. Key Responsibilities: Provide crisis control for youth and adolescents unable to be integrated within their residential group. Provide constructive feedback regarding student behavior with teachers, clinical and residential staff. Act as designee in Residential Supervisor\'s absence. Follow through on individual behavior plans Document and report writing. Manage the staff office, common areas, restricted items cabinet, and timeout space to maintain appearance of those areas. Provide students with extra help with residential activities and instruction. Review and act on daily log entries, intercom, all incident reports and clinical log. Assist and trouble shoot with Residential Supervisors in the logistics of programming, supply requisition and strategizing regarding student management. Communicate with supervisors, ADL\'s and aides to ensure daily interventions are implemented throughout the day. Oversee residential transitions with the daily program. Continually improve positive, non-threatening approaches to behavior management and discipline. All other responsibilities as requested by supervisor. Any work assigned shall be related to the Employee\'s normal duties, except for occasional emergencies. Fluent English speaking and writing skills, empathy and the ability to listen, good time management skills and professional appearance and demeanor are all required for this position.
