The Manager, Sales Forecasting will be responsible for supporting brands across the Bausch Pharma Business Units (GI, Dermatology, Neurology, OraPharma) in demand sales forecasting and analytics. This person will be accountable for partnering with the Head of Forecasting to evolve the forecasting function to a more sophisticated and transparent specialty within Commercial Operations. This person needs to bring forecasting and analytical support to meet the different needs of a large and diverse product portfolio of both inline and pipeline brands. This person must be comfortable in operating in a fast paced changing “start-up” type environment. This role will directly serve as the face of the function to Sales and Marketing VPs and Directors of the Unit they support and report directly to the Sr. Director, Sales Forecasting.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Evaluate the current forecasting processes and methodologies and work with Head of Forecasting to evolve the sophistication and capability of the function to serve the needs of a dynamic and diverse portfolio.

  • Implement differentiated forecasting methodologies into standard practice which include but not limited to patient-based models, market models, bottoms up payer models, and TRx based methodologies for both inline and launch brands.

  • Build and cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders built on trust, transparency and communication.

  • Develop and maintain best in class, standard forecasting methods, processes and tools.

  • Support the evaluation and implementation of Forecasting tool such as Forecast Pro or other industry leading software.

  • Provide analytical support across multiple sales channels, managed care environments, product landscape, and other industry dynamics.

  • Support efficient and streamline reporting capabilities specific to forecast performance using tools such as Power BI.

  • Ensure that all activities support:

  • Maintaining an objective, comprehensive, deep understanding of all customers

  • Recommendations and guidance for business and brand decisions that take into account customer needs as well as the need to establish and maintain viable, profitable brands/franchises/businesses

  • Full understanding of performance as well as proactive, forward-looking perspectives on business trends, uncertainties, issues, opportunities and implications for commercial strategies and actions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree; Advanced degree in business-related discipline preferred

  • 5-8 years of industry experience with a strong understanding of:

  • Commercial business environment

  • Data analytics and pharmaceutical data sources (i.e. IQVIA, Symphony, etc.)

  • Managed care environment such as formulary coverage, Payers, PBMs, Pharmacy, and other Health Care Organizations

  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical forecasting and performance management

  • Experience in statistical analysis, regression analysis, forecasting tools, reporting tools, and various analytical methods.

  • Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to lead meetings and discussions, collaborate cross-functionally, and effective presentation skills.

  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.

As required by law, Bausch Health provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in the US. Actual compensation is influenced by many factors including skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For this role, the range of starting pay for this role is $115-145k
