The Law office of Luke Bowman, PC Receptionist in Brighton, Michigan

Greet clients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner. Answer and direct phone calls using a multi-line phone system. Schedule appointments, manage the firm's calendar, and coordinate meetings for attorneys and staff. Handle client inquiries and provide information about the firm's services. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and faxing documents. Maintain and update client records and databases. Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages. Prepare and send outgoing mail, including courier services. Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable. Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory, placing orders when necessary. Assist with the preparation and formatting of legal documents, correspondence, and reports. Maintain client confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Provide support to attorneys and staff as needed, including assisting with special projects and tasks.

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration is a plus. Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role, preferably in a law firm or professional office environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with office equipment (copiers, fax machines, etc.). Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion. Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude. Experience with immigration software preferred. Independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload.
