Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry located in Brookhaven, Georgia. This role involves managing expense and payment transactions with a high level of accuracy and efficiency. The successful candidate will handle sensitive monetary information confidentially and play a crucial role in our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Process incoming invoices, credit notes, and expenses, ensuring they match purchase orders and delivery notes

• Verify entries and compare system reports to balances to reconcile processed work

• Perform financial transactions daily, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts payables data

• Maintain up-to-date payments

• Maintain vendor files and handle correspondence with vendors as necessary

• Assist in monthly closings and prepare reports as needed

• Act as a liaison between the company, government, and external accountants to meet information needs and ensure historical information is properly maintained

• Maintain a filing system for all financial documents

• Work closely with the accounting team to perform other related duties as required. Requirements

• Proficiency with Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with IBM AS/400

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Accounting Functions

• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Familiarity with Check Processing

• Proficiency in Data Entry

• Ability to handle Discrepancies

• Experience with NetSuite

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proven capability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
