Coordinates, develops and implements special projects and programs which have a broad impact and are designed to meet specific needs of the community or City. Coordinates projects with City staff, the public, and/or outside agencies. Research and recommend City economic and community development and capital improvement initiatives. REQUIREMENTS: * High school diploma or equivalent * Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field * Three (3) years of experience in project management, grant management, public administration, or a related field JOB DUTIES: Conduct all aspects of grant management and oversight for assigned portfolio, including carrying out funding allocation processes and ensuring the timely and effective use of grant resources. Manage a diverse grant portfolio, including Federal USDA grant/loan funds. 2. Serve as the primary technical expert in developing, implementing, and managing a grant management process to ensure accountability, stewardship, and allocation of all City grant funding. 3. Research, prepare, and monitor grant applications from a variety of sources including regional, state, federal, or private sources. Administer grant-funded projects, ensure financial compliance, and prepare reimbursement requests. 4. Coordinate projects through a systematic project management approach, assisting City Manager and Department Directors with project paperwork, and making presentations to City Council, advisory committees, citizen involvement organizations, civic groups, and the general public. 5. Manage and monitor program and project budgets, ensuring they stay within budget and meet quality and cost control standards. Administer and oversee contracts to achieve goals, review progress, and ensure accountability for quality work products, service delivery, and cost controls. 6. Research and recommend City economic and community development and capital improvement initiatives to the City Manager for presentation to Mayor/Council and implement such initiatives as directed. 7.
