• Develop and oversee Title I programs in compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Provide regular support to teachers, promoting effective pedagogy and professional growth.

This role requires having a car and traveling between schools in the 5 boroughs. Most days will be spent meeting with school administrators and educators.

Program Design and Setup:

  • Develop and oversee Title I programs in compliance with state and federal regulations.

  • Ensure all students are properly enrolled in TAARIS and instructional groups.

  • Coordinate schedules and instructional groups with NPS principals.

  • Ensure that substitute teachers are in place when needed.

Teacher Support and Development:

  • Provide regular support to teachers, promoting effective pedagogy and professional growth.

  • Provide regular support to coaches, promoting effective pedagogy and professional growth

  • Conduct school -based visits twice a month for each teacher, maintain low-inference notes of all visits, and provide feedback to instructors.

  • Conduct Danielson-based observations twice a year for each teacher,

  • Create and monitor improvement goals for every teacher.

  • Conduct school -based visits once a month for each coach, maintain low-inference notes of all visits, and provide feedback to coach

  • Supervise staff, offering constructive feedback and mentorship to ensure optimal instructional services.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure teachers complete required documentation for Title I instruction per local LEA guidelines.

  • Ensure teachers complete required status reports and assessments as per local LEA guidelines.

  • Maintain accurate records of student and staff attendance, behavior reports, and supply inventories.

  • Complete Teacher Visit Report

  • Complete Principal Visit Report

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Schedule and attend regular meetings with the Program Director and team. -

  • Foster positive relationships with school leadership and staff.

  • Develop and maintain professional communication with principals and new staff members.

Student Progress:

  • Ensure students are progressing towards academic standards and goals.

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000
