The Calendar Group Property Manager - Brooklyn & Lower Manhattan in Brooklyn, New York

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee day-to-day operations

and maintenance of a private residence in Brooklyn and lower Manhattan. The Property Manager will be responsible for the overall coordination of the residence and supervision of the staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the residences to ensure alignment with the Family’s vision. 

  • Supervise and train all domestic staff to ensure daily tasks and operations are being  conducted in a timely and accurate manner

  • Be the main point of contact for property and all staff related matters

  • Coordinate event planning for special events and functions, including managing logistics to  ensure a seamless experience for guests

  • Ability to step in and execute on daily operations & household management duties, when n eeded.

  • Providing attentive pet care (dogs), including but not limited to coordinating daycare

  • transportation/walkers, grooming, cleaning, feeding, administering medication, etc.

  • Manage scheduling for staff

  • Responsible for real-time feedback to employees and participation in performance reviews

  • Build/maintain relationships, negotiate, and supervise vendors and contractors

  • Ensure property maintenance, and home projects are up to date and that routine services/maintenance are being performed as contracted and completed in time for the  appropriate season

  • Develop and enhance processes and procedures, ensuring that any gaps are filled

  • Draft, update and file/archive all property documentation

  • Coordinate with Accounts Payable team to ensure vendors and expenses are paid

  • Log and maintain inventory of all assets, including art/wine/furniture and other personal

  • items

    Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years’ of similar experience 

  • Experience working for a Family and managing staff in a collaborative, team-oriented, positive environment

  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate appropriate discretion

  • Must be experienced in all areas of household management including full charge

  • housekeeping

  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented

  • Must have advanced computer skills including Excel, Concur, etc.

    Hours

  • Standard Hours are 9AM-5PM Monday through Friday. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays required

    Compensation: $200K - $250K per year
