Description

Construction Company in the Fulshear area is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to add to their team. Must have Accounting/Bookkeeping experience in the Construction industry. Must understand how to put bids together, AIA documents and have experience with Accounts payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, reconciliation and expense reports. This direct hire opportunity would be working with a great organization that is family oriented. This individual would assist in Accounting reporting monthly, quarterly and yearly to an outside CPA, degree is a plus.

Requirements • Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Account Reconciliation

• Understanding of Accounts Receivable - Aging

• Knowledge of Construction Projects - Accounting

• Proficiency in QuickBooks

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Ability to maintain accurate financial records and prepare clear and accurate reports for informational, auditing and operational use

• Understanding of principles and practices of accounting and financial records management

• Ability to reconcile accounts, records, reports and journals

• Ability to prepare financial and/or auditor statements, schedules and reports

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Detail-oriented and organized, with high levels of accuracy in work

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
