DESCRIPTION OF WORK This position requires you to assist our county caseworkers. You will be in charge of scheduling, transporting and escorting clients to appointments, visitations, and court hearings. You will often supervise visits that happen in the office between child and parents, and document said visits. Other key responsibilities of the position include assisting in basic clerical tasks, maintaining company vehicles, keeping caseworkers and supervisors informed when it pertains to the family, and maintaining the visitation room within the office. In this role, you will provide a valuable service to the children of Jefferson County.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law. Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
