Description

We are in search of a Controller to join our team in the client, located in Brownsburg, Indiana 5 days per week. This role provides an opportunity to take on strategic responsibilities in managing accounting operations in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Execute monthly controller activities with precision and consistency.

• Engage in financial reporting adhering to the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

• Deliver leadership and support to the accounting team.

• Oversee external audit processes and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Implement continuous improvement strategies to optimize financial operations and procedures.

• Handle additional duties as assigned, during a maternity leave.

• Utilize various software and tools such as Excel Pivots, VLOOKUPs, and Oracle Cloud amongst others in performing daily tasks.

• Manage accounting functions including accounts payable and receivable, auditing, and budget processes.

• Perform month-end close activities and reconciliations and year-end duties.

• Use skills in Excel Formulas and Pivot Table for financial data analysis and reporting.

Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in a Controller.

• Proficiency in using Oracle and Accounting Software Systems.

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services and CRM.

• Knowledge and experience using Crystal Reports.

• Strong understanding and experience with Accounting Functions.

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Proven experience in Auditing and Budget Processes, along with interacting with external auditors.

• Ability to handle Month End Close, Monthly Accruals, Monthly Account Reconciliation.

• Experience with Month-end Close Activities and Month-end Journal Entries.

• Proficiency in using Oracle 11i, Oracle, and Oracle Analytics Cloud.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including Excel Formulas, VLOOKUP, and Pivot Table.

• Understanding of IFRS - Intl Financial Reporting Stds and IFRS Accounting.
