Capital Farm Credit VP Document Preparation in Bryan, Texas

Description/Job Summary

LOCATION:

  • This position will be located at the Corporate Headquarters or Round Rock. Candidates will be expected to relocate within 24 months.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Seven (7) or more years' experience in all facets of document processing and loan servicing including closing requirements, regulatory coverage, title examination, collateral evaluation and documentation, and lien perfection. \

  • Three (3) years of supervisory experience required.

FUNCTIONS:

  • Leads, develops, and implements all loan closing activities of FLCA and PCA loans for the Association. Ensures Association loan-related reporting and database are maintained in accordance with FCA Regulations, other relevant regulations, and departmental policy.

  • Oversees and prepares loan documents and statements to meet all regulatory requirements in coordination with the Legal and Compliance teams. Works with other stakeholders to streamline the operational development of the closing process.

  • Trains, oversees, and establishes employment actions for assigned staff and all members of the Document preparation/processing department.

  • Works closely with District Bank to develop and facilitate process alignment and software modifications to the district origination, closing and credit servicing software.

  • Works closely with the Lending and Loan Administration teams to ensure closing and credit servicing processes and procedure fall in line with overall Association objectives.

  • Maintains expert knowledge of lending documentation requirements, underwriting, title, escrow, loan processing, closing and credit servicing policies, procedures, terminology, automated underwriting systems and federal and state guidelines.

  • Stays current on regulatory requirements, loan origination systems, and related information necessary to execute the role.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • General knowledge of accounting/financial systems.

  • Expert knowledge of title insurance, crop insurance and credit life insurance.

  • Expert knowledge of real estate security legal requirements, consumer lending regulations and procedures, and document preparation procedures.

  • Expert knowledge of documentation requirements for title policies, deeds of trust, and collateral.

  • Skill in oral and written communication.

  • Skill in providing customer service.

  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Strong communication skills are necessary in a consistent and ongoing basis.

  • Ability to present to large groups and delivery key concepts and findings.

At the discretion of CFC, position may be offered at alternate titles and other business experience may be considered relevant.
