Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with solution architects to evaluate, implement, and qualify new technologies especially in the Snowflake ecosystem.

• Design and develop highly scalable data models.

• Sound understanding of Data Warehousing principles and ETL concepts such as incremental loads.

• Familiar with anyone programming language ex: Python, JavaScript etc.

• Write complex SQL queries to extract data from Snowflake and perform data analysis and reporting tasks. This may include aggregations, joins, subqueries, and advanced SQL functions.

• Monitor Snowflake's performance, resource utilization, and data loads to identify and resolve issues. Analyze query execution plans, optimize resource allocation, and work closely with the infrastructure team.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as data engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technical expertise, and deliver high-quality data solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in STEM or a related discipline.

• 5+ years of experience in Information Technology with experience in Data and Analytics domain.

• Knowledge and experience in Snowflake database is a must.

• Strong SQL skills with exposure to analytics and windowing functions, performance tuning and query optimization

• Working experience in Data warehousing and Data Integration areas.

• Strong skills in Data modelling and creating highly scalable data marts.

• Experience building data pipelines and working on Data migration projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Snowpro or advanced Snowflake certification.

• Knowledge of RBAC, secure views and other data segregation techniques.

• Excellent documentation and interpersonal relationship skills.

• Knowledge of orchestration tools like Airflow, control-M etc.

• Knowledge in CI/CD pipeline, Gitlab, Jenkins etc.

• Knowledge in AWS Glue, IICS, HVR etc.

• Experience with Snowflake concepts such as travel, secure views, streams, tasks

• Knowledge and experience in Realtime technologies is a plus.
