Corning Hungary is looking for a

CTR Coordinator

The Close To Report Department , often abbreviated as CTR department provides financial services for more than 35 Business Units in the EMEA region. Our main areas covered are: General Ledger Accounting, Management Accounting, Fixed and Leased Asset Accounting. We are providing end to end support to our internal customers.

As a CTR Coordinator you will perform day-to-day and closing activities in cooperation with cross-functional departments, according to predefined deadlines with full ownership of their tasks and in compliance with the Process Documentations of the respective business sub-process. In this position in close collaboration with the Local Finance, you will focus on:

  • Project and fixed asset accounting activities

  • Perform General Ledger (GL)Accounting: create and process Journals and perform revaluations, remeasurements, translations, allocations, maintain chart fields

  • Complete monthly GL account reconciliation

  • Performing Month-end Closing and support Year End closing preparation

  • Prepare Ad-hoc Reports to Support Business Units (Internal customers) and Corporate Analyses

  • Support Reporting to Treasury Operations

  • Preparing audit documentation and participating in internal and external audits

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance/Accounting related discipline
