Citigroup Financial Reporting Analyst – Credit Risk in Budapest, Hungary

Financial Reporting Analyst- Credit Risk

Reporting team within Finance is responsible for credit and counterparty credit risk prudential reports preparation and submission to several stakeholders including senior management, business leads and regulators.

The Finance Reporting Analyst is responsible for the generation, tracking and submission of financial reports in coordination with the Finance Team. The overall objective of this role is to accurately prepare and report business/financial transactions, reports and statements in accordance with local regulatory guidelines.

What you’ll do:

  • Production & delivery of daily, monthly & quarterly regulatory returns and monitoring reports

  • Maintenance and further enhancement of controls & reports including reconciliations, adjustments & variance analysis

  • Ongoing review and development of current processes to increase efficiency

  • Provide support to country Finance teams on an ad-hoc basis (e.g. audits, regulatory inquiries)

  • Liaising with multiple departments of the covered countries (including Financial Control, Treasury, Risk and Technology departments) to resolve issues

What we’ll need from you:

  • 0-1 years of previous experience required

  • Good analytical skills

  • Good understanding of Accounting & Finance principles, Financial Markets and product knowledge is an advantage

  • Knowledge of VBA, Python, Knime, SQL is an advantage

  • University/College degree in finance/accounting

  • Self-motivated and detail oriented

  • Working knowledge of related industry practices and standards

  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
