Financial Reporting Senior Analyst
The Financial Reporting Senior Analyst is a strategic position, reporting locally to Regulatory Reporting department leads within the Budapest Finance CSC.
As part of the team of diverse and supportive professionals, the main tasks are concerned with to provide Analytical and Assurance support to Countries\Clusters\Regional Finance and execution of Core Financial Reporting Processes. The role offers opportunity to manage a wide range of reporting and analytical tasks, country and regional reporting and projects.
Responsibilities:
Material Legal Entity (MLE) analysis and communication to the Country/Cluster/Regional Controllers of actual variances on the Legal Entity and Management level financial results
Assurance - Owns the primary controls over the accuracy integrity of the main GB Banking, and/or broker dealer entities' actual results.
Execute analysis of respective MLEs at consolidated & Legal Entities level using Standard & Non-Standard Reports
Participate in the Country Close (Pre, Month End, Post Close Calls across stakeholder groups)
Interacts with Financial Planning & Analysis/Product Control Group/Control lead/Reporting lead etc at Country/Cluster level as part of the closing process
Approve US/local/IFRS GAAP adjustment requests for ledger booking
Point of contact for Country \ Business significant issues
Ideal background:
6+ years of related experience
Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Good command of spoken and written English
Financial Services Industry experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
Working knowledge of related industry practices and standards
Ability to work with multiple functions
Proven problem-solving skills
Great communication skills
