Team/Role Overview
The Team within Citi's Procurement and Third Party Management is a centralized function that delivers common operational Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) processes for all external third party relationships. First Line of Defense providing Citi businesses with TPRM operational support, and performing various controls on behalf of Citi businesses.
Currently we are looking for junior and more experienced colleagues to join our TPM Operations and TPM - BAO (Business Activity Owner) Support Teams.
What you’ll do in the TPM Operations Team?
Facilitate Citi businesses’ ongoing compliance with Third Party Management requirements outlined in Citi policies and standards
Perform pre-contract due diligence and post-contract ongoing monitoring activities based on specific third-party risk profile, country, and / or business requirements. Such activities include HR Management, Subcontractor Reliance, Corporate Responsibilities, Insurance Coverage, Exit Strategy Plan Review, Financial Statement Collection etc.
Perform quality control reviews for third-party risk management activities and provide credible challenges to accountable / responsible parties
Monitor progress on agreed upon third-party remediation activities and escalate issues as necessary
Liaise with Sourcing and Business to provide guidance on policy compliance and overall third-party risk management requirements
Engage with Business Stakeholders and Suppliers while completing third party controls
Execute common, standardized third-party risk management processes, managed centrally by the TPU
Ensure high-level of Customer interaction and satisfaction
Participate in continuous improvement activities
What you'll do in the TPM - BAO Support Team?
Build strong internal relationships and help strengthen controls and awareness across Citi businesses globally
Provide expert guidance and support on key controls, standard processes, operating procedures, and promote best practices
Monitor reports to ensure third-party management policy required pre-contract due diligence and post-contract ongoing monitoring is carried out by responsible and / or accountable parties
Work closely together with BAOs and support them to make sure all products and third parties comply with Citi’s risk mitigation standards
Contribute to risk assessments and drive actions to address the root causes that persistently lead to operational risk losses by challenging both historical and proposed practices.
Ensures that all product, operational, fiduciary, regulatory and payment system risks are actively identified, monitored, and adequately controlled
Identify system or process weaknesses, proposing resolutions that will mitigate the exposure and increase processing efficiency
What we’ll need from you
For junior positions: work experience in a multinational company is preferred, however fresh graduates are also welcome for this role
For more senior positions we need at least 1-2 years of relevant experience
Fluent written and spoken English is required for both seniority levels
Intermediate command of MS Suite
High attention to details
Analytical skills
