Title:

Construction Manager

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle. These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets.

KBR is looking to review initial project data and writes scopes of work, resolve job site technical issues encountered during execution of the project, supervise the project construction planning, safety, cost control, and scheduling activities. You will also provide job site liaison with home office engineering personnel, interpret drawings and specifications for job site queries, supervise job site document control and distribution of drawings, specifications, and all other technical documents. Assists engineering, QA/QC, and client in defining the turnover systems and schedules systems for turnover.

This position is located at a client site in Richmond, VA. No relocation or per diem will be offered.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be US Citizen and eligible to work in the United States

• Minimum of 8-10 years of construction management experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or experience in lieu of a degree

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Be able to provide examples of writing abilities

• Must have the ability to work in a team environment

• Clear Criminal Background Check required

• Must have the ability to climb stairs, scaffolding, ladders, walk long distances, and work outside in seasonal weather conditions
