Position Summary:
The Department of Geology (https://arts-sciences.buffalo.edu/geology.html) is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate, who will join a group of physical volcanologists at the University at Buffalo who study a range of volcanic processes through numerical and analog modeling.
Job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Mentoring graduate students within the volcanology group
Teaching upper-level planetary science courses
Helping to carry out necessary research on established grants under the advisement of Dr. Tracy Gregg
The successful applicant is also encouraged to design and conduct his/her own research that enhances the tasks above.

Minimum Qualifications:
PhD in the geological sciences or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
A research focus on volcanology and planetary science, along with some teaching experience
