The Department of Surgery at the University of Vermont College of Medicine is seeking a board certified/board eligible Urologist in The Division of Urology. The successful candidate will receive an appointment at the Assistant/Associate Professor/Full Professor level, commensurate with qualifications, in the clinical scholar pathway and must have completed a board approved urology residency, be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Vermont and eligible to work in the United States. Advanced training in oncology / robotic surgery with experience in the management of complex genito-urinary oncology patients is preferred. Duties will also include general urologic patient care opportunities aligned with the teaching of medical students and urology residents.
All applicants must be board certified/board eligible in all aspects of Urology and have experience in the administrative, teaching, clinical, and research activities of an academic division. This is a full-time, 12-month, salaried position with attending staff privileges at the University of Vermont Medical Center.
Located in Burlington, the University of Vermont and the University of Vermont Medical Center serve as Vermont’s only academic medical center. It is the only ACS verified Level 1 trauma center in the state and provides tertiary care to patients from Vermont and Northern NY.
