Montana Tech Temporary / Seasonal Groundskeeper in Butte, Montana

Temporary / Seasonal Groundskeeper

$11.00/Hour

Schedule:  Either 6:00 am to 2:30 pm or 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Duties:

General Campus grounds cleaning & maintenance: mowing, string trimming, watering, turf maintenance, pruning, planting, weed and trash removal. Moving office furniture and equipment.

Required Qualifications:

  • 16 years of age or older and attending high school, or High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • knowledge of equipment, tools, and procedures of grounds care.

  • knowledge of operating grounds maintenance and grounds construction equipment and tools.

  • One or more years of gardening and groundskeeping duties.

  • Experience maintain large sections of grounds.

  • Valid driver's license preferred.

    Physical Demands

  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds independently throughout work shift.
