Quality Supplier Engineer

Job Overview

Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for approval, supervision and development of suppliers in terms of quality.

SQE reviews, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies, investigate problems and dealing with supplier complaints. Cooperation with incoming inspection, production, quality, logistics and engineering departments in the field of component quality.

Tasks:

• Cooperation with suppliers

• Cooperation with the purchasing department in the process of selecting, approving and periodically evaluating the supplier.

• Monitoring the level of compliance with quality requirements by suppliers and initiating improvement activities.

• Coordination of activities related to the supervision of non-conforming products provided by suppliers.

• Conducting audits at suppliers (system audit, process audit).

• Issuing complaints to suppliers and coordinating the complaint process to the supplier, evaluation of 8D reports from suppliers.

• Participation in the process of releasing processes related to suppliers and components in internal processes.

What your background should look like:

• Higher technical education

• Fluent Polish and English

• Minimum 1 year in the department related to quality or technical management

• Knowledge of technical drawing

• Ability to analyze, draw conclusions, solve problems

• Working knowledge of quality tools and statistical techniques (e.g. FMEA, Control Plan, Pareto, 8D)
