A Government client of TEKsystems requires four D365/Power Platform Developer - Senior resources with experience designing and implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 D365 Power Platform PP and Azure Services.

These resources will be part of Information Technology IT project teams delivering Microsoft D365 Power Platform and Azure solutions to meet project requirements. This position requires individuals with excellent communication and inter-personal skills along with the ability to work independently and as part of a diversified team. This individual must have the ability to develop trusted relationships and demonstrate innovation / initiative with a focus on customer service.

Background :

The City has multiple Microsoft D365 solutions primarily Customer Service Marketing and Commerce environments that utilize additional Power Platform and Azure services implemented to meet the needs of our clients. The City continues to grow its D365 footprint to meet ongoing Client needs in 2025.

The individuals in this role will be responsible for the architectural design effort estimations and implementation of solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 D365 modules Power Platform PP and Azure services to meet project requirements.

Project Scope and Project Objectives:

The scope of this engagement involves implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 D365 Power Platform and Azure solutions to meet project requirements while aligning with the City of Calgary's best practices for D365 applications. It also includes understanding the licensing based on design decisions and long-term technology implications for the recommended solution.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing input and architectural recommendations for D365 solutions based on identified requirements.

• Providing high-level estimates to deliver solutions based on identified requirements.

• Developing and configuring solutions to meet project requirements.

• Having a thorough understanding of the Microsoft licensing implications based on the proposed D365 modules for the recommended solution.

Must have skills:

1. Experience in architecting, estimating solution implementation effort and configuring Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Sales, and Customer Insights modules as part of delivered solution (3+ years).

2. Experience in development and implementation of Power Platform Pages, Power Automate Flows and Power Apps solutions (3+ years).

3. Experience in development and implementation of Azure Logic Apps and Function Apps (3+ years).

4. Experience in configuring custom integrations with Dynamics 365 (3+ years).

5. Experience in D365 plugin development and implementation (3+ years).

6. Experience conducting performance, unit, system, integration, and quality assurance testing of application (3+ years).

7. Development experience with .NET, CSS, Java, JavaScript and HTML (4+ years)

8. Experience in Azure Dev Ops CI/CS Pipelines (3+ years)

9. Experience deploying solutions between DEV, TEST and PROD environments in Dynamics 365 (2+ years).

10. Gathering and analyzing requirements specific to D365 implementations (5+ yrs.).

11. Up to date Microsoft Power Platform Certifications for PL-200 & PL-400

Additional Skills & Qualifications

1. Experience Working for a Certified MS Dynamics Partner.

2. Up to date Microsoft Power Platform Certification for PL-600

3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

4. Excellent documentation skills.

5. Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.

6. Previous work experience with Municipal, other Government Organizations or equivalent endeavors related to development tools and technologies

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100.00 - $100.00
