District Animal Hospital & Urgent Care is currently welcoming an experienced Veterinarian, DVM to join our team. This is an exciting time to join a new hospital and be a part of an amazing team!

• A valid veterinarian license allowing practice in Canada

• At least 5 years experience in; soft tissue surgical procedures, preventative care, and offering nutritional advice.

• Dedicated to promoting team-based medicine practices

• Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues, pet parents, and community

• A passion for coaching and mentoring students along their DVM journey

• An interest in attending conferences and networking with colleagues

• A love for all companion animals!!

About the Hospital

Our newest GP and urgent care hospital serves North Calgary and surrounding areas. This facility has the capacity to treat and care for patients scheduled for regular checkups or those in need of immediate medical attention. The District Animal Hospital has complete surgical and radiology facilities on site. In addition, the facility has ultrasound services, endoscopy, general dental services, and an on-site pharmacy.
