Position Summary:

The Associate Director of Product Management in Digital Health supports the planning, developing, ensuring a successful launch, and post-launch support (LCM) of digital health products or services. The incumbent will work closely with the DH Product Management team and shall share accountability for the execution and delivery of digital products or platforms. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • In a highly collaborative manner, creates and executes an actionable plan for the development and commercialization of digital health solutions such as patient or provider facing mobile applications, AI-based algorithms or remote patient monitoring solutions to support the BMS DH portfolio.

  • · Acts as an integrator within the program team comprised of colleagues from Digital Health, IT, Worldwide and regional Brand Teams, Drug Development, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory Affairs, Quality and Legal to ensure alignment and connect best practices.

  • Supports the creation of KPIs to measure and track program milestones and deliverables. Creates appropriate dashboards and visualizations to communicate program status to stakeholders and executive leadership.

  • Facilitates effective, science-based business decisions including the development of scenarios as needed. Ensures all decisions are captured and assessed as to their impacts and communicates to stakeholders in a transparent and timely manner.

Key Accountabilities:

• Drives the projects forward to achieve significant acceleration of time to market for Digital Projects in BMS by applying sharp prioritization, Minimum Viable Product mindset and cross functional leadership

• Delivers high quality digital health assets that accomplish the intent for improved patient experience, better patient outcomes, and enhances the value of our medicines in moments that matter across the treatment journey

• Drives the maturity of the BMS enterprise in selecting, validating and deploying novel digital health solutions (eg. consumer wearables, medical devices) that yield robust clinical data

• Brings breadth of executional expertise in developing regulated products, including strong data science capabilities by which diverse clinical datasets are analyzed and scientifically viable digital measures are developed

• Mobilizes and Leads the collaboration with cross company expertise in drug development, clinical trial design, data science, cybersecurity, data privacy and other subject matter experts to deliver robust & compliant solutions

• Aligns the organization, including effective decision making and governance, to execute on the approved strategy

• Communicates and collaborates with senior leaders, functional area stakeholders, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of digital program operational plans with functional area capabilities to establish the working team charter

• Navigates complex and dynamic internal and external healthcare environment; brings an agile and continuous improvement mindset by utilizing unbiased, factual assessments to drive rapid change management

• Support the development of KPIs that determine utility & adoption of digital health solutions; develop an analytics strategy to collect measures of success & validate solutions; Thinks through post-launch end-user support systems to ensure service levels & sustained engagement

• Maintains successful track record of leading through influence in complex situations

• Develops and promotes a workplace culture that values diversity of thought, promotes integrity, and creates an atmosphere that supports coaching and fosters accountability

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, engineering or relevant discipline preferred.

  • 6+ years of experience in project management in the pharmaceutical, MedTech or life sciences industry; Digital product development or commercialization expertise preferred

  • Expertise in leading complex data analytics programs in a pharmaceutical company is desirable

  • Successful track record of leading through influence and working across complex, global organizational matrices
