Location: Hybrid with head office in Cambridge, Ontario
Southbridge Health Care LP. owns and operates 26 Long-Term Care Homes and 8 Retirement Homes throughout many urban and rural areas of Ontario. Southbridge Health Care LP. is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to deliver support to our Human Resources Department, with a focus on supporting our Talent Acquisition Team. Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, the individual will demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and passion for seniors care by delivering high-quality support to our organization.

Key Overall Responsibilities:
Develop and execute recruitment strategies that create robust talent pipelines and meet the needs of business units.
Partner with hiring managers to address both immediate and long-term recruitment needs at strategic and tactical levels.
Assess current recruitment processes and recommend continuous improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Lead a proactive, multi-channel talent sourcing process to build a strong, diverse candidate pipeline for various functions using tools like LinkedIn and Indeed.
Partner with diverse organizations, communities, and stakeholders to develop and align talent programs with organizational goals.
Map and enhance the candidate experience journey to ensure a superior recruitment experience.
Attend job/career fairs and industry events to identify prospective candidates and promote Southbridge.
Drive initiatives to improve organizational attractiveness through strategic marketing, digital presence, and leveraging our unique culture and employee offerings.
Lead the recruitment for senior-level and complex positions, as required.
Use recruitment and staffing reports and market knowledge to adjust strategies and tell a compelling story with data.
Enhance performance against key Talent Acquisition performance indicators, such as time to fill, cost to fill, quality of hire, candidate experience, and retention rates.
Key International Portfolio Responsibilities:
Oversee Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) applications for Long Term Care Homes, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
Liaise with government agencies and service providers regarding the Temporary Foreign Worker Program.
Manage flight bookings, travel arrangements, and related expenses for foreign workers.
Handle the renewal of work permits, travel visas, health cards, and social insurance cards for international workers.
Ensure a smooth onboarding process for international workers, providing necessary documentation and support.
Organize, and maintain accurate data related to international workers and talent acquisition activities.
Qualifications:
5+ years of proven experience in talent acquisition with a strategic mindset.
Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
Ability to develop and execute strategic recruiting plans.
Proficiency with recruiting tools and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience managing LMIA applications and compliance with labour regulations is an asset.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously.
Strong data analysis skills to leverage insights and drive recruiting strategies.
