Job Description

L3Harris is seeking a Sr Associate Manufacturing / Industrial Engineer in our Camden, Arkansas facility.

Essential Functions

  • Participates in work measurement studies involving the use of predetermined time systems, establishing work standards and equivalent units of production and incorporating this data into a total control system

  • Analyzes manpower utilization control reports

  • Corrects and adjusts report information, prepares interpretive graphs and charts, and recommends action to management

  • Performs work simplification and methods improvement analysis to identify effort duplication

  • Recommends improved processes, methods, procedures, and forms

  • Performs performance measurement, analyzes cause of variance, and develops corrective action

  • May have budget responsibility in conjunction with a project or proposal

  • Performs economic evaluation of suggestions or method improvement studies

  • Assists in developing LEAN improvements for new and existing processes

  • Assists in organizing and running Kaizen and other improvement exercises

  • Assists in the analysis, evaluation, and design of major plant and equipment layouts

  • Provides support to less senior industrial engineers and support staff as required.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior manufacturing experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior manufacturing experience.. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior manufacturing experience.

    Preferred Additional Qualifications

  • Some knowledge of Aerojet Rocketdyne (Missile Solutions) product lines a plus.

  • Ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance
