Immediate Office of the Chief of Naval Operations COMBAT ASSESSMENT PLANNER in Camp H.M. Smith Marine Corp Base, Hawaii

Summary You will serve as a COMBAT ASSESSMENT PLANNER within HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND. Responsibilities You will understand of the roles, relationships, authorities, major objectives, functions and processes of subordinate organizations within the USINDOPACOM chain of command. You will negotiate effectively with management to accept and implement recommendations for command positions on extremely sensitive, highly classified and vitally important capabilities. You will in plan, organize, and lead others in comprehensive studies or projects and preparing accurate, technically sound recommendations. You will contribute to the development of a Joint Fires Network (JFN) to expedite future fires, bridging sensors to shooters through a federated common data layer. You will provide mature judgment and considerable leadership experience within a military service are required in applying guidelines and developing new standards. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as the following; 1. Planning policies, processes, and procedures related to Joint Fires along with demonstrated experience in Joint Targeting Cycle planning, execution, and assessment. 2. Applying kills and processes necessary to integrate joint lethal and nonlethal fires and effects. 3. Developing and analyzing new policies, processes and procedures related to Joint Campaign, Contingency, Crisis Action Planning, building information, non-kinetic, and cyber operation assessment frameworks. 4. Negotiating effectively with management to accept and implement recommendations for command positions on extremely sensitive, highly classified and vitally important capabilities. 5. Communicating effectively with varying levels of audience by telephone, video teleconference, and by traveling to interact personally.
