Summary You will serve as a SUPV HR SPEC (RECRUITMENT/CLASS) in the Marine Corps Civilian Human Resources Office (HRO) of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON. Responsibilities Current or former Interchange Agreement employees, DoD Military Spouse Preference (MSP) eligibles, VEOA eligibles, and 30% disabled veterans. You will identify training and developmental needs of subordinates. You will provide advice on internal and external staffing recruitment processes. You will hear and resolve employee issues and effects minor disciplinary actions as required. You will interpret and evaluate discrepant information to make recommendations based on legally supportable conclusions. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing and providing technical advice for recruitment and selection programs and position classification standards; and assigning work priorities and plans to be accomplished by human resources employees.
