Broadstreet Properties LTD Housekeeper in Campbell River, British Columbia

Are you an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor looking for a new opportunity with great perks? This is a permanent, full-time position!

As a division of Broadstreet Properties, we take pride in our presentation. We pay attention to detail and keep our properties organized and pristine. We have year-round openings for full- and part-time housekeepers.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional housekeeper to manage executive households. As a Housekeeper, you will ensure various residential homes stay clean and orderly, and you will perform related duties to support the households. This is a tremendous opportunity to display attention to detail and cleanliness.

Your Responsibilities include:

  • Cleansing all aspects of local residences including sweeping, mopping, polishing floors, vacuuming carpeted areas, removing garbage and recycling, cleaning light fixtures, and changing light bulbs/tubes.

  • Maintaining inventory of materials and supplies, ensuring use of environmentally friendly natural products where possible.

  • Notifying maintenance promptly of any needed repairs.

  • Conducting extensive and professional laundering for elegant and upscale items.

    What you need to be successful:

  • Minimum five years of cleaning experience.

  • Proven attention to punctuality and detail.

  • Valid driver's license.

  • Strong communication and comprehension skills.

  • Familiarity dealing with Luxury items.

  • Ability to lift up to 75lbs.

    Technical Knowledge or Specialized Skills:

  • Highly motivated and able to work independently.

  • Ability to handle high-end laundry.

  • Will work directly with client, and subsequently around children.

  • Must be able to schedule and prioritize work for self.

  • Ability to comprehend and communicate detailed instructions orally and in writing.

  • Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.

  • Exhibit initiative, responsibility, and flexibility.

  • Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally.
