Robert Half Inside Sales Rep in Canton, Ohio

Description We are offering a unique opportunity to join our team in the metal fabrication industry as a Sales Assistant in Canton, Ohio. This role involves supporting our existing customers, identifying new product opportunities, and expanding business within our current customer base. You will also introduce our products to prospective customers, ensuring a seamless experience for all.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner, providing exceptional customer support.

• Assist the sales team in maintaining regular contact with all key account customers, prospects, and leads.

• Follow up with customers on quotations, ensuring their needs are met and questions are answered.

• Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities, contributing to the growth of the company.

• Generate price quotations for new and renewed sales opportunities, following established pricing strategies.

• Understand and communicate relevant material specifications and customer requirements.

• Work with the purchasing team to maintain ideal stock levels for customer long-term contracts.

• Participate in monthly sales meetings, providing updates on previous month’s efforts.

• Use CRM, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, About Time, Cash Activity, Closing Processes, and Complaint Handling tools to manage customer interactions and sales processes.

• Travel as required to meet with customers and explore new business opportunities. Requirements • Proficiency in using CRM software for managing and analyzing customer interactions and data

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suites, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word

• Familiarity with 'About Time' software for managing mobile resources

• Experience in handling cash activity and closing processes

• Ability to handle customer complaints and provide effective solutions

• Demonstrated experience in communicating with C-Suite executives

• Knowledge of the metal fabrication industry

• Previous experience in a sales assistant role or similar

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
