Overview of Position

Real-world impact. Life-changing outcomes. CommQuest seeks an LPN Staff Nurse for our facilities located in Canton and Massillon, OH. You will provide assessments, medications and other medical treatment directed by your supervisor for clients suffering from addiction.

1. Essential Job Functions / Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and implement treatment plans including assisting admission to detox unit
• Educate patients on condition, medication and treatment plan
• Document nursing care via EHR. Implement nursing care under clinical supervision of the Director and Medical Doctor.
• Work and communicate effectively with Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Director, clinical staff, etc., to provide best client care.

• All other duties as assigned

   

1. Minimum Qualifications

    

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Associate degree in Nursing is a plus.
• Minimum LPN currently licensed in the State of Ohio with no current license restrictions
• Previous knowledge of mental health and/or addictions is highly desired
• Must be professional and team player working together for the benefit of our client.

The work schedule is full-time 12-hour Midnight Shift (7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.), part-time, or PRN for Days, Afternoons or Midnights. You will also provide coverage for on-call shifts as needed and directed by a supervisor. Must have availability to work weekends and holidays on a rotation basis.
