Description

We are on the hunt for a skilled PC Technician to join our client's team in the service industry, based in Cape Girardeau, Missouri! This role involves a variety of tasks, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining computer networks and providing technical support on-site. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative field, utilizing a range of technological skills.

Responsibilities:

• Providing technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.

• Installing, modifying, and repairing computer hardware and software.

• Running diagnostic programs to resolve problems.

• Resolving technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.

• Installing computer peripherals for users.

• Following standard help desk procedures.

• Managing Active Directory users and groups.

• Operating and maintaining Microsoft and Dell Technologies systems.

• Handling Deskside Support and Configuration Management.

• Overseeing the deployment of new workstations.

  Requirements

• Proficiency in Dell Technologies

• Familiarity with Microsoft software and operating systems

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair computer hardware

• Capable of managing and executing deployments

• Must provide Deskside Support when necessary

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team

• Must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and processes

• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to think critically

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
