DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position you will learn how to collect and select brood stock while handling the fish in a manner that minimizes stress, injury and mortality. You will learn to operate a fish stocking vehicle in a safe and timely manner, load and transport fish, monitor fish, take appropriate action to deliver the fish in excellent condition, and perform repairs and maintenance to buildings, equipment, and grounds.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Seasonal, full-time employment. Work hours are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. This position may require some weekend, evening, and holiday work as well as standby time. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Graduation from high school or equivalent certification of formal training.

Necessary Special Requirement: Possession of valid Pennsylvania Driver's License.

Post-employment Requirement: Employee entering this classification must obtain a Commercial Driver's License that permits the operation of vehicles of 26,000 lbs. or more prior to completing their probationary period.
