Carlisle Interconnect Technologies Sales Development Associate in Carlisle, Pennsylvania
This program is 9-12 months designed to prepare entry level college graduates for a career in Sales within CCM. In this role, you will rotate throughout various departments within the organization learning processes, products, and the Carlisle Experience. During the program you will develop selling skills, overall business acumen, gain product and industry knowledge, and engage with professionals within the business including Sr leadership.
During the program you will work directly under the supervision of the Manager, Training & Talent Development and be paired with a mentor. Successful completion of the program will result in relocation and placement into a Field Sales position within one of CCM's brands.
Responsibilities
- Build, grow and maintain positive working relationships with employees, leaders and customers
- Learn CCM's products through 8-week classroom & application training and apply knowledge through hands on projects
- Learn and apply selling techniques and CCM's selling processes
- Work in customer service and pricing to understand customer service and delivery policies and procedures
- Travel with Regional Sales Managers, PVC Specialists and Technical Sales Specialists on sales calls and customer events
- Learn marketing techniques by completing marketing projects
- Attend trade shows, customer events, and/or industry specific seminars
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of CCM's product offerings and brands
Required Skills/Abilities
- Naturally curious with desire to learn
- Leadership experience through community involvement, student organization, internships or previous work experience.
- Ability to communicate (both verbal and written) effectively
- Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize projects and assignments
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to relocate as required and assigned at the completion of the program
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office
- Strong presentation skills

May 2024 graduate with Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Industrial Distribution, Business/Marketing, or related field
