An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Accounts Payable Lead to join our highly esteemed client in Carlsbad. The ideal candidate will perform a range of accounting and clerical tasks related to the maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily accounts payable department operations.

• Review all invoices and check requests for appropriate documentation and approval before payment.

• Handle vendor inquiries and reconcile vendor statements.

• Process and enter invoices, expense reports, credit memos into the accounting software.

• Ensure that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.

• Assist with the preparation of month-end financial reports.

• Coordinate with other departments and perform periodic audits to ensure accurate reporting and record keeping.

  Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably as an Accounts Payable Lead.

• Strong knowledge of general accounting concepts and accounts payable functions.

• Proficiency in accounting software.

• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet department deadlines.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus.
