Fluidra is seeking an ESG Manager with an emphasis in Environmental to join our team! We are open to this person residing near one of three offices/ plants: Carlsbad, CA, Atlanta, GA or Portland, TN. We are looking for someone who is passionate, analytical and technical to implement the Environmental strategy in North America. If this sounds like you, we’d love to connect!

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

Under the direction of the Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) Director / Regional Steering Committee located in Spain with a dotted line to the Vice President of NA Manufacturing, this person will contribute to the Global ESG strategy and implement the Environmental strategy in North America . Additionally , you will:

  • Conduct d ata management, analysis and follow up , i.e. r eporting control

  • Strategy implementation and follow-up to achieve annual goals

  • Quantification of environmental impacts, carbon footprint and energy efficiency opportunities at production sites.

  • Development and monitoring of climate change, water, waste and biodiversity strategies. Support in the drafting of sustainability report.

  • ISO 14001 implementation

  • Provide training and information to employees/department responsible for the achievement of projects and objectives

  • Benchmark

  • Ensure environmental compliance of sites

  • Willingness to travel domestically 40 - 50 %

    WHAT WE SEEK

  • 3+ years of E SG experience, including experience in analyzing environmental data to develop environmental impact mitigation and improvement strategies

  • Ability to work in a team and to manage simultaneous projects in a changing environment.

  • Knowledge of carbon footprint management (scopes 1, 2 and 3): calculation, analysis, tendency and deviations detection. Be able to design of strategies to reduce it in an industrial/manufacturing environment. Determine avoided emissions.

  • Ability to propose and monitor other environmental projects regarding sustainability (climate change, water, waste, biodiversity, etc …).

  • Data management skills and advanced knowledge of Excel.

  • Knowledge of Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001), waste management, environmental permits and law compliance.

    Desirable knowledge/skills:

  • Knowledge of Power BI and reporting platforms (SAI 360, Workiva).

  • Knowledge of non-financial reporting standards: Sustainability report, Integrated Report methodology and CSRD and EFRAG standards

  • ODS reporting, ESG risks (TCFD) and LCA assessment.

  • Knowledge of index reporting methodologies such as CDP, DJSI and S&P

  • Human rights and due diligence processes.

    EDUCATION

    Bachelor’s Degree in Environment, Biology, Engineering (industrial, roads, chemistry, agronomist, or similar) or similar. Master’s degree in environmental management , Sustainability, or similar is a plus.

    Expected annual salary range is $1 1 0,000 - $1 4 5,000.
