Eaton’s IS VEH Power Connections division is currently seeking a MultiSlide Operator 2nd Shift. This position is based at our Carol Stream location. Multi-Slide operators will be responsible for setting up and operating the multi-Slide cell. Perform necessary adjustments and quality checks during production.

The hourly rate for this position is $21-$30 per hour + $1/hr. shift premium.

What you’ll do:

• Make tooling adjustments as needed

• Troubleshooting machine for set up and quality needs

• Work close with Quality department and toolroom

• Must be able to understand basic blueprints

• Open to offsite training

• Perform 5s

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED

• 1-2 years of multi-slide experience

• Basic computer skills

• Must reside within 50 miles of site location

Preferred Qualifications:

• Mechanically inclined (tooling, assembly, etc.)

• Comprehension of sense of urgency

• Self-motivated with good communication skills

• Knowledge of basic calibrated equipment

Skills:

• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs

• Ability to stand for extended hours
